Stack Awards: Last chance!

The deadline for the Stack Awards is almost here. Our last day for receiving entries and magazines is 7 October, so for those who haven’t entered, head to our application page so you don’t miss out on the fun.

Last week, we had an exciting visit from our neighbours in Makerversity, the design studio Morrama who came by to show off a prototype of the Stack Awards trophy. Each one will be custom made to fit the width of the winning magazine.

We’ve also been spotlighting last year’s winners of various categories, for example The Gourmand, Weapons of Reason and The Outpost, all of whom provided their own thoughts on who they think should win this year.

The shortlisted magazines will arrive with our expert judges around the world by 17 October, so they get to spend a full month with the titles before our judging day, which will take place at the Ace Hotel on 17 November.

When the judging is over, all shortlisted publishers will be invited to join us in a celebratory drink upstairs at the Ace. This gives magazine makers a chance to meet their judges, and other indy publishers. Winners will be announced on 29 November, when we’ll have an awards ceremony at The Book Club in London.
