Top 10 covers of the year (so far)
Yikes. We’re over halfway through the year and the covers just keep coming. The following list represents the most popular covers of 2015 so far, according to the number of likes received on Stack’s Instagram.
I post a new cover most mornings, so if you like what you see, follow the feed and join in with voting for your favourites through the rest of the year.
10. Lost
A brilliant piece of Chinese and English publishing, Lost is a travel magazine that explores the world from a Chinese perspective.
09. Intern
The latest issue of Intern breaks away from the portraits of the past in favour of an enigmatic hand lost amongst the big blue blocks.
08. The Holborn
Still going strong from the start of the year, The Holborn‘s martini pattern has caught the imaginations of many.
07. GOOD
Redesigned and relaunched, GOOD‘s blue / green gradient is the perfect background for this dramatic image.
06. Nous
Beautifully delicate with its almost invisible typography, mental health magazine Nous catches the attention without shouting.
05. The Gentlewoman
Another one going strong from the start of the year, The Gentlewoman‘s Björk issue saw the magazine’s first colour cover image.
04. Drift
A black and white Tokyo city skyline sets up another quality issue of coffee and travel magazine Drift.
03. Zweikommasieben
Arguably the greatest pot plant cover ever created, Swiss club culture magazine Zweikommasieben gets it right with issue 10.
02. Les Others
Earth, sky and white space – French / English title Les Others shoots into second place with its debut issue.
01. Gym Class
But nobody can come close to touching Gym Class magazine and its provocative type. Will this oh-so-cool cover still be in the top spot come the end of the year? You decide!
