Magazines – How do I know which ones I’ll get?
Each Stack delivery is a surprise, so there’s no way of knowing which magazines you’ll receive. But we can guarantee they’ll be top quality – take a look at the Stack roster to see for yourself.
Confirmation – How do I know my subscription is live?
You will receive a confirmation email from us within 24 hours of your subscription, with all the details of your subscription and a link to the customer portal, allowing you to check and update your information.
Gifts – Can I buy Stack for somebody else?
It’s easy to buy Stack as a gift. Simply go to the subscribe page and choose the option that’s right for you, then on the checkout page use the ‘Is this a gift?’ dropdown let us know that you’re buying a gift. If necessary you can enter a different billing address to the shipping address, and at the end of the process we’ll give you a selection of gift cards to choose from.
Gifts – Will you contact my recipient?
We won’t contact your gift recipient to let them know the subscription is set up, but at the start of each month we’ll email them to let them know their magazine is on its way.
Overseas – Do you offer international delivery?
We can deliver magazines to you anywhere in the world. Just select your country from the drop down menu when you subscribe and we’ll update the prices so you can see exactly how much the subscription will cost.
Delivery times – When will my magazines arrive?
We dispatch magazines twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you choose to start your subscription straight away we will dispatch your first magazine on the next available dispatch date. Orders placed before 3pm Monday are dispatched on Tuesday, and orders placed before 3pm Thursday are dispatched on Friday. Your subsequent magazines will be dispatched around the 10th of the month. If you choose to start the subscription next month, or the month after, the first magazine will be dispatched around the 10th of that month. You can expect the following arrival times:
UK – Two to five working days after posting
Europe – Five to eight working days after posting
US & Canada – Five to 15 working days after posting
Rest of the world – Seven to 15 working days after posting
In order to keep our prices down we don’t track the items we send out, and if a delivery is delayed we ask customers to wait for the following period before contacting our support team to request a replacement delivery:
UK – Ten working days after posting
Europe – Twenty working days after posting
US & Canada – Twenty working days after posting
Rest of world – Twenty-five working days after posting
If you have already waited longer than the worst case delivery times outlined above, please contact our support team to request a replacement delivery. We’ll always do our best to get your magazines to you, and if needs be we will resend up to three months’ worth of magazines.
Payment – What payment options do you offer?
We can take payment in sterling, dollars and euros via credit or debit card, and in sterling via Direct Debit on our secure payment page.
Opting out – What if I don’t want to receive some magazines?
We know that some people might not want to receive all the Stack titles, so it’s easy to opt out. For example, if you already subscribe to one of the Stack magazines, just email us to let us know and we’ll make sure we don’t send you that one. We recommend that you opt out of a maximum of two titles in order to enjoy the full Stack surprise.
Pausing – What if I want to pause my Stack subscription?
It’s easy to pause your Stack subscription – ideal if you’re going to be travelling for an extended period or otherwise unable to receive your magazines. Just email us stating your name and address, and your reason for pausing, and we’ll set your subscription to paused. You will not pay anything while your subscription is paused, and when it restarts it will continue as normal.
Cancellation – What if I want to end my Stack subscription?
To cancel at any time just let us know via the form on our cancellation page and our subscriptions manager will take care of it for you.
Payments – How will Stack appear on my bank statement?
Payments to Stack will appear on your statement as Stack Magazines.
Invoicing – Will you include an invoice with the magazines?
We don’t include printed invoices with the magazines we send out, so if you’re buying a gift you don’t need to worry about your recipient accidentally seeing the price you paid. If you require an invoice after subscribing you can log into your customer portal and download an invoice, or just email us and we’ll send one via email.
Perks – What benefits are available to Stack subscribers?
Our subscribers gain access to a range of benefits, including our monthly Zoom calls with magazine makers, and 10% off everything in the Stack shop. We’re also able to offer benefits from our partner organisations, giving Stack subscribers money off with a selection of arts and lifestyle brands. All coupon codes and perks information is sent to new subscribers in our welcome email, which arrives the day after they have signed up.

Renewals – How do I renew my subscription?
You can renew your subscription at any time – just email us and we’ll be happy to help.
Changing address – How do I update my address details?
You can amend your delivery details online. Simply sign in using your email address and password, or if you don’t have an account set up, you can register using the email address associated with your subscription. Alternatively, just email us and we’ll be happy to help.

You can subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about new magazines and exclusive offers, plus get 10% off your first order. You can also follow us on Instagram to get selected updates on new products.
Subscriptions – Can I subscribe to the shop?
No — the shop is intended as a quick and easy way to buy the world’s best independent magazines with no commitments. If you’d like to buy magazines by subscription, take a look at our Stack monthly subscription service.
Login – Why can’t I log in to the shop?
Our subscriptions service and shop each run on separate platforms. If you’re a Stack subscriber you can log in to your account via the customer portal. If you are a shop customer you can log in to your shop account or check out as a guest.
Gifts – Can I buy a magazine for somebody else?
You certainly can. If you’d like to send a magazine as a gift, simply enter your gift recipient’s name and shipping address at checkout and we’ll send the magazine directly to them.
Confirmation – How do I know my purchase has been completed?
You will receive a confirmation email from us soon after we receive your payment, with all the details of your order. If you’re unsure whether or not your order has been processed, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Delivery costs – How much will delivery cost?
We base our costs on the weight of your order and your shipping address. To see how much delivery will cost, please add the magazines you’d like to purchase to your cart and fill in the delivery address deatils and the delivery price will be automatically displayed.

We can deliver magazines to you anywhere in the world. Just enter your country at checkout and we’ll update the prices so you can see exactly how much the delivery will cost (prices are based on the weight of your order and your shipping address). If you’re unsure about delivery to your country, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

UK – Two working days after posting
Europe – Three to five working days after posting
US & Canada – Six to seven working days after posting
Rest of the world – Six to seven working days after posting
Your tracking number will be provided in a shipping confirmation email once the package has been dispatched. If you can’t find your tracking number, or if you have a problem with your order, please contact our support team and we’ll be pleased to help.
Tracked shipping – Do you offer tracked shipping?
Yes – we send all our shop packages tracked via Royal Mail.
Damage – What can I do if my magazine was damaged in transit?
If your magazine was damaged in transit, please send a photo to our support team and we’ll arrange for a replacement.

Yes! Students can get 10% off magazines in the shop. Just email us with proof of your student status to receive the code.
