Stack Live comes to Amsterdam
Last month’s Stack delivery was the brilliant Dutch magazine Works That Work, and I’m very pleased to announce that on 29 January I’ll be heading to Amsterdam to host a special Stack Live event with the magazine’s editor Peter Bil’ak.
As with previous Stack Live events, the night will be all about getting into the details of how the magazine is made; where the stories come from, how they evolve over time, and where Peter sees his project going next. The magazine itself is fascinating, but so too are his thoughts on the wider publishing industry and what it takes to make an independent magazine financially viable these days, and I’m really looking forward to getting into that with him in more depth.
The event is free to attend, and is being hosted by Athenaeum bookshop. There’s no need to book, so if you’re in or around Amsterdam come along at 6.30pm for an evening of magazine talk, and to find out exactly why I chose Works That Work for last month’s Stack delivery.
