Passion for print
Next month will see the 10th Magculture Live event held here in London, with a great line up of editors and designers speaking about how and why they do what they do. That was the initial reason why I went over to the Magculture shop this week to speak with founder Jeremy Leslie, but as you’ll hear from the podcast episode above, our conversation covered much more than just the upcoming event, and included a run down of some of our favourite new magazines, as well as wider thoughts about the general state of magazine publishing at the moment.
Jeremy picked out Disco Pogo, The Fence and Nuts as his particular favourites, while I went for The BitterSweet Review and A Shade Colder, and there were more magazines on the table, but I decided to cut that bit short or we could have been there literally all day. It was lovely catching up with Jeremy again, and the event looks like it’s going to be a brilliant day out, so if you want to be part of it, either in person or via the livestream, head over to the Magculture site and book your tickets now.
