Sampler: Gym Class magazine

It’s probably not surprising that Gym Class magazine, the original magazine about magazines, is a long-time favourite of ours. In fact we like it so much that this week we’re making it our latest Sampler offer.

Published out of London by magazine enthusiast Steven Gregor, Gym Class is a wonderful dive into the world of magazine publishing with interviews and contributions from some of the world’s greatest magazine-makers, both mainstream and independent.

This is its largest issue to date, exploring topics that range from the role of magazine covers in the digital age, to new women’s magazines, and bad interviews. It also features interviews with people like Jake Silverstein (The New York Times Magazine) and Ibrahim Nehme (The Outpost) alongside essays by Johnny Davis (Deputy Editor of British Esquire), Jessica Gysel (Editor of Girls Like Us) and Alex Needham (Arts Editor at Guardian US).
