Transgressive sensuality in Emulsion magazine
Emulsion is an arts magazine designed by the London-based design studio Our Place, in collaboration with Michael Opie O’Grady. It sets out to “soften the boundaries of artistic practice”, featuring film scripts, visual journals and augmented realities.
Take a look at the video to see the heady, juicy worlds created by artists like Marilyn Minter and Stéphane Winter. What I like about this magazine is the uncomfortableness of its imagery: the way it pictures flesh as something new, and strange.
