Out and about with Stack

Two big nights coming up for Stack magazines this week – on Wednesday Bad Idea will be holding their latest Butcher’s Shop event, a writing workshop with a heavy dose of theatre and plenty of free gin. It’s open to all and kicks off at 7pm in the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret on St. Thomas’s Street.

And the following night (gin hangover permitting) I’ll be at the relaunch party for Bearded over at The Macbeth in Hoxton. I’ll admit to never having heard of Ratface, Beestung Lips or any of the other bands playing, but I’m looking forward to seeing what Bearded has pulled together for the start of their assault on the newsstand.

The various publishers and editors of Stack’s magazines have got big plans for the year, so keep checking back here for more news of events as they’re confirmed.
