The great Stack magazine amnesty
At the end of this year Stack will have been going for five years. That’s a lot of independent magazines sent out, and it’s inevitable in that much time that you’re going to pick up some spares, swaps and extra copies.
But magazines shouldn’t sit at the back of a dark cupboard, gathering dust – they should be out in the sunshine being read by happy people. So this Saturday we’re going to be holding the Stack amnesty. The nice people at The Church of London have kindly agreed to open 71a for us and we’re going to be giving away magazines from the archives.
We’ve got rare copies of Delayed Gratification, Anorak, It’s Nice That and Address to name just a few, and of course we only keep the good stuff, so we’re talking literally hundreds of really great magazines all waiting to be picked up.
There’s no competition to win, no details you have to submit. Just come along to 71a Leonard Street from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday 18th and help yourself to as many great independent magazines as your shopping bag can carry. In the meantime, it would be great if you could help us spread the word – use #stackamnesty and let’s see if we can find a good home for all these magazines!
