So this is how it’s going to be is it?

Got back from a really fun, exciting magazine meeting last night (that’s a few of us above) and went to bed. Woke up this morning and found that there’s already a 48 Hour Magazine Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr up and running. I was genuinely surprised last night by the amount of enthusiasm and energy that people had for the project, but I’m amazed to see it starting to take shape already. Thanks very much to Amie for that.

You can use all of the above to follow what we’re doing over the weekend, and don’t forget to put a #48hrmag on your tweets so we can keep track of them. We’ll be printing a selection of them in the magazine, so even if you can’t make it down to the Southbank you can still get (a few) words on the page.

One final practical piece of information if you are planning on coming down over the weekend: We’re going to be getting started at 10am, and will then have editorial meetings both days at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. That’s when we’ll be getting together to take stock of where we are, discuss new ideas, things that need doing, etc, so they’re going to be good times to drop by. Hope to see you down there.
