What would happen if the people behind a couple of amazing independent magazines got together and decided to stage London’s greatest festival of creativity? They’d probably organise a fantastic line-up, book out the Barbican Centre and make it all look completely beautiful.

Or at least that’s the plan.

Timba Smits is the man behind Wooden Toy Quarterly amongst other things and Greg Beer is the creative director of VNA, and along with their friend Gordon Shaw they’re putting on the first Kaleidoscope International Creative Festival at the Barbican on 27 and 28 November.

They’ve got loads of brilliant people and companies turning up to talk creativity, including Johnny Cupcakes, Brosmind, Hello Monday and Handsome Frank, and they’ve just released a special batch of golden tickets for early birds who want to hoover up benefits like no booking fee, a personalised pass and ‘special surprises’ over the two days.

The golden tickets are only available via the Kaleidoscope Indiegogo page and there are only 250 of them, so if you want one you’d better move fast.

See you at Kaleidoscope…
