New from Kasino
Stack subscribers who’ve been around for a while now will remember Kasino A4, the brilliantly anarchic magazine made by Finnish creative powerhouse Kasino. They pulled the plug on the magazine last year but on 1 May they’re back with their new project, the Kasino Creative Annual, which sits somewhere between a magazine and a book and explores a single subject in depth.
The first annual focuses on hair and its many different meanings. Or as they put it; “Hair is primarily about aesthetics – the way you choose to look. This changes as soon as you step into a different culture, where new rules apply… Kasino Creative Studio grabs the topic by the short hairs and examines it through illustration, fashion and writing.”
It won’t be available on Stack but it’s going to be well worth seeking out. In the meantime, check out the spreads above and after the jump to get an idea of what it’s all about.
