Outside the Box

Thanks very much to everyone who came down to Boxpark over the weekend to vote, read, buy, listen and drink free booze.

It was really great fun and special thanks need to go to Alan from Wears the Trousers, Ben and JJ from The Fly, Josh from ‘SUP, Phil from The Stool Pigeon, Mike and Mark who played on behalf of Take the Stage, and Michael and the whole Notion mob. Thanks also to Sean from Drowned in Sound, who chaired the Saturday evening discussion on music magazines, featuring Alan and Michael from earlier in the day. And very special thanks to Jonny from Shellsuit Zombie for asking us to be part of their Uncontained summer in the first place. You can see pictures of everything that’s been going on there on their Tumblr, and there are still a few weeks of pop-up stuff left to come.

As ever it was great to meet so many magazine makers and fans in one place. And it was really really great to not spend all day in a box today!
