Printout recommended reading
Thanks very much to everyone who came along to Printout last night. As ever it was great to speak to so many magazine fans, and as ever I was amazed at the number of new magazine projects that people either described to me or actually put into my hands.
A particular thanks should also go to the speakers who took to the stage and talked about their favourite magazines. In case you missed it (or to jog your memory if you were there) the speakers and their magazines were:
Jeremy Leslie on the small but perfectly formed (and experimentally scented) German magazine Mono Kultur
David Hepworth on the calm, eloquent sense of The New Yorker
Marisa Brickman spoke about David Carson’s hugely influential Raygun
Danny Miller talked about the first magazine he worked on, the independently-minded Adrenalin
And Marc Valli finished things up with Purple, a fashion magazine that still hasn’t sold its soul
