Printout gets sporty

Everyone knows that Stack and magCulture are nothing if not topical, so it should come as no surprise to learn that this summer’s Printout is going to be themed around sport.

We’ve got a fantastic panel of speakers lined up, including Andrea Kurland from Huck, Philip Diprose from The Ride Journal and Jonathan Wilson from The Blizzard. We’ll be asking them what independent sports magazines do differently to their mainstream counterparts, finding out where they’re taking their magazines next, and wondering at how an independent sports magazine can manage to keep itself going these days.

We’ll also be reinstating the magazine swap so please bring a favourite magazine (but one you don’t mind giving to a stranger). It worked really well last time and I’m looking forward to seeing what weird and wonderful titles people bring with them.
