Erotic magazine takes on recession

Based on the erotic novel ‘The Story of O’, Michel Haddi’s ‘Blue. A Whipping Delight’ is a large format magazine/book hybrid that uses beautiful black and white photography and short texts to tell the story of a woman and her sado-masochistic adventures in an anonymous boudoir.

It’s all very opulent and sophisticated, and it has a price to match. I’ve got a copy of the regular paper version, but there were six limited edition issues created, complete with a platinum print signed and stamped by the artist, all packaged up safe in a blue Plexiglas box. Originally sold at a whopping £4,000, our friends at Comag have got just one issue left and they’re selling it at £1,800. Bargain!
