Supanorak hits Stack
At the start of the month I posted about comings and goings at Stack in 2010 and promised a couple of new additions to the service, and now I’m very pleased to reveal that the first two of those additions are ‘Sup and Anorak.
‘Sup is an incredibly cool music magazine made in London and New York, and arrives at Stack just as it takes a step up in the world. It’s been around for years, available for free in select shops in London, New York and Paris, but as of this issue the magazine is available to buy online, making it available to everyone regardless of where they do their shopping and vastly increasing its reach. Take a look at the dedicated ‘Sup page for more from editor and publisher Marisa Brickman.
And Anorak is quite simply the best children’s magazine in the world. Edited by ex-The Face staffer Cathy Olmedillas and designed by Supermundane, it takes a totally fresh look at storytelling for children and is guaranteed to charm anyone who comes within three feet of it. Cathy explains more on the Anorak page.
There are still more new additions to come to Stack, which I’ll announce as they arrive. In the meantime, look out for a special set of posts from tomorrow onwards, in which Stack magazine editors and publishers get to grips with whatever it is Apple is about to unveil. Exciting times!
