New titles for Stack
Sharp-eyed visitors to the Stack blog will already have noticed that there have been two new additions to the line up of magazines.
The Drawbridge is a literary magazine in the shape and format of a tabloid newspaper. Up until the last issue it was a broadsheet, but the magazine’s editors are planning to keep exactly the same formula of new writing, photography and illustration in the new smaller size. Read our Q&A with commissioning editor Mark Reynolds to find out more.
And Mule is a small magazine made by a group of incredibly talented friends and colleagues in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Normally available only in and around the town itself, I’m very pleased to be sending it out to Stack’s global audience, and again you can read more about the magazine by going to the Q&A page.
I’m hoping to announce another new title before the end of the week, and of course when I do I’ll let you know here.
UPDATE
Patterns of Creative Aggression has just been confirmed and added to the line up. Another small, inventive local magazine, it will be making up a bumper delivery for September. Read more about the magazine on its dedicated page.
