Video review: Pollen magazine
One year and 52 videos after starting the Two-Minute Magazine series, I’ve learned a couple of important lessons: First, it’s almost impossible to talk about a magazine in two minutes (the series should really be called Two-And-A-Half-Minute Magazines); and second, there is just no end to the brilliant magazines that keep on coming. Looking back over the videos is a great reminder of just how many quality magazines we’ve seen this year.
So for this first anniversary video, I decided to set myself a challenge. Pollen magazine is a completely fascinating journal of philosophical thought, which begins with some big, complex ideas and spins them out into an entire issue of beautiful images and stimulating reading. But it’s not easy to talk about.
The video below is my best attempt at explaining what it is and why I ended up spending a very pleasant couple of hours with it this weekend. I hope it makes sense!
