The ‘Bagazine’
Viscose is a new fashion title that has become known, for obvious reasons, as ‘The Bagazine’. Odd and imaginative, the content inside ranges from a feature on the disappearance of the once thriving knock-off designer bag market on New York’s Canal Street, to an essay dissecting the ‘cuddle puddle’ in fashion advertising (think Calvin Klein models, en masse, snogging). It is a novel pleasure to be able to swing your reading material around like a tote, but Viscose is so thoughtful and provocative it transcends arm-candy status.
