Video review: Food& magazine
I love it when magazines challenge the way we think about a genre. Food magazines tend to deal in the beautiful and enticing, and with good reason – titles like The Gourmand and Gather Journal use words and art to evoke the sensuous pleasures of eating, and even a magazine like Put A Egg On It, with its messier approach to food, will make you want to tuck in.
But Food& doesn’t want to make you hungry. Instead it places food in unusual (and unappetising) contexts to show a different side to sustenance.
