A British music magazine that’s dedicated to the underground, Off Licence celebrates independent artists, venues, and clubnights, and the grassroots organisations that are working to keep the music playing. Their 16th issue is themed ‘The Jazz Issue’, and it presents jazz as an artform that is accessible, adventurous, and very much alive.
In this issue:
- A profile of Tomorrow’s Warriors, the organisation set up to increase access to jazz music for Black British talent
- Five rising queer jazz artists everyone needs to hear
- Mixing live jazz, DJ sets, and soft furnishings at Bristol’s Analogue Lounge
- The perfect cocktails to accompany jazz
- And interviews with Venna, Emma-Jean Thackray, Kokoroko, and Allexa Nava
