Internet art hits the printed page in Nichons-Nous dans l’Internet
Exploring the meeting place of art and technology in the 21st century, Nichons-Nous dans l’Internet presents a playful and provocative selection of work created by artists who are fascinated by the way we live today. Take a look at the video above to see some of our favourite examples from this latest issue (and please excuse my one attempt at French pronunciation at the start!)
I’ve focused more on the visual stories for this one because they tend to work better on video, but the writing is really fascinating too, giving ample space to the artists’ ideas and inspirations, and providing the context behind the work. All the stories can be read in both French and English, and the tone manages to be entirely serious while also engaging with the playfulness in the artworks themselves.
If this looks like the sort of thing you want in your life, head over to the Stack shop to pick up your copy while we still have a few left, and watch out for news of their next issue coming soon…
