Video review: Brewster magazine
A travel magazine with a difference, Brewster doesn’t just take its readers to a different location each issue – it takes them to a different time.
I think their idea of sourcing vintage stereoscopic photographs and turning them into modern 3D images is absolutely ingenious, and by matching those images with contemporaneous texts they create a fantastic impression of a time and place – in this case, late 19th-century Japan.
This is a very special magazine, and one that just has to be seen (through 3D glasses) to be properly appreciated.
