Cover countdown: April 2016

For those who haven’t heard, we’ve been running our ‘People’s Cover of 2016’ competition, where everyday until 22 December, we put up three of the most double-tapped magazine covers from our Instagram so readers can vote for their favourite. The best response gets a year-long Stack subscription, so two lucky wordsmiths have gone home with the prize last week.

After a heated 24 hours on Friday, people of Twitter have spoken — the most popular magazine cover from March is Junko Journal! They will now be up for the most popular cover of the year voting on the 23 December. Our favourite response was from Zillah, who takes home a Stack subscription!

My personal favourite from the three Printed Pages cover stars, I like the drama of Duck's anguished dignity. Powerful stuff. And great work by the @itsnicethat team, selling out their online allocation in just a few days. If you want a copy of this latest issue, you'd better get to the shops fast!
