New Stack service: Sampler launches
It’s been six months in the making, but I’m very pleased to announce that Sampler, the new magazine service from Stack, launches today.
The independent magazine industry has changed enormously since I started Stack seven years ago, and Sampler is my response to where I think it’s going. You can read more about that and my thinking behind the new service in this Medium post, but first you need to go to the Sampler site and sign up with your email address.
Done that? Thanks! Here’s what you get:
Every Thursday we’ll send you an email with our recommended reading for the week. It will be the brand new issue of an excellent magazine, and you’ll be able to buy a copy in just a couple of clicks.
Sending single copies around the world is expensive, but the bulk savings I get from Stack will give Sampler customers the best possible deal. That means free shipping on all orders to the UK, Europe and USA, and subsidised shipping everywhere else in the world.
All the magazines on Sampler come with a 10% discount. That’s 10% knocked off the price you’d pay in the shops – you won’t find them cheaper anywhere else.
And you choose to buy when you want to, giving you direct access to the latest magazines with no subscriptions and no commitment.
But there’s a catch – this is a sampler service and there are only 100 copies available each week. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if you want to take advantage of the offer you have to move fast.
The first magazine offer will go live on Thursday 18 June and it’s an absolute belter – the second issue of one of my favourite launches from last year. This is going to be fun.
