Printout – the authors

Next week’s Printout event is going to be a bit of a departure.

Normally we focus on a specific part of the independent magazine world, zooming in on subjects like illustration, printing or fashion. But on Tuesday 28th we’ll be throwing the doors open and inviting three expert commentators to speak about independent publishing in the broadest sense.

All three of our panellists have written or are in the process of writing books about independent magazines, and as you’d expect, they all have strong views on the state of independent magazine publishing today.

Jeremy Leslie is creative director of magCulture (and co-founder of Printout) and the author of The Modern Magazine
Ruth Jamieson is the author of Print Is Dead. Long Live Print
Conor Purcell is the founder of We Are Dublin, and will publish his book The Indie Blueprint in 2016
