Printout – the print special
Organising events is a bit like making magazines – the one you’re working on always feels like it’s going to be the best one yet. But for our next Printout on Tuesday 24th it seems particularly true for a couple of very good reasons.
Firstly, we’ve got some sponsorship. Everyone’s favourite printer, Park Communications, is stepping in to formally support Printout. Bravo!
Secondly, we’re using their support to fly in Michael Renaud, creative director of The Pitchfork Review. This is huge. He’s based in the US but we’re going to have him, live and probably a bit jet lagged, for one night only in our little Shoreditch basement.
And he’s going to be joined by none other than Marcroy Smith, founder of People of Print, Dan Catt, the man behind The Long Good Read, and James Bird and Will Cox, co-founders of Belleville Park Pages. They’ll all be speaking about the very different reasons why they turned to print for their projects, and what they learned along the way. I can’t wait.
Tickets are available at £5.95 – buy yours now! We always have a last-minute rush and it’s rubbish to turn people away, so make sure your name is on the list and we’ll see you there.
