Stack is hiring
We hired our first full-time member of staff in September last year and I’ve had a brilliant nine months working with Stine. But all good things must come to an end, and now she’s moving on so I’m looking for a new editor.
Looking back, Stack has rocketed on since the last time I sent out a call for CVs. We held the first Stack Awards ceremony in December last year (watch out for details of this year’s competition coming next month) and we moved into our new office in Somerset House in February.
There’s even more planned for the next 12 months, so I’m looking for somebody who’s going to help take Stack to the next level, with a few key skills:
First and foremost, the Stack editor needs to love independent magazines – I’m looking for somebody who is just as excited about independent publishing as I am.
They need to be an excellent writer and editor, capable of running the Stack blog and social media channels, and developing them to reach even more people.
And they must be organised and enthusiastic, able to juggle multiple tasks while still having fun.
If that sounds like you, please drop me a line with your CV and a brief note stating your favourite magazine, and why you think you’d be the right person to work at Stack. The job is full-time, offering a permanent contract and paying £23,000 per year, and applications close on Friday 24 June.
**UPDATE** Applications have now closed for this position
