Update: The sound of Stack
We released our first podcast at the end of last month, and ever since I’ve become obsessed with refreshing Soundcloud to see how many people have listened to it. (If you haven’t heard it yet, give it a click – Dan from Amuseum is totally brilliant.)
But it’s also very definitely a first attempt, and there are several things I want to do differently next time, starting with music. I want to create a piece of podcast music that captures the essence of what Stack is, and for that I need some help.
If you’re a Stack subscriber, we want you to record a sound that sums up how you felt when your magazine arrived this month. It could be a squeal, a sigh, a toot on your favourite toy trumpet, or anything else you fancy. Please keep it short, and email it to info@stackmagazines.com in any format you like by Friday 15 July (you could record it in voice memos and send it straight from your phone – super simple).
We’ll then pass it over to the audio wizards at Pyka and they’ll turn your yelps and yowls into a lovely catchy tune that you’ll be able to hear on our next podcast. And to say thanks, if we use your audio we’ll send you a lovely new pack of Stack-branded notebooks.
Thanks very much for your help – I’m looking forward to hearing what you sound like!
