Contemporary drawing in Fukt magazine
I recorded this video a few weeks ago but I’m only just getting around to putting it up now. Fukt is dedicated to contemporary drawing, and I didn’t know it when I was recording the video, but this issue won Cover of the Year at the Stack Awards last month.
Take a look at the video to see the clever cover concept in action, representing the power of systems to either provide clarity or obfuscate depending on how they’re used. And of course take a look inside to see the range of drawing gathered for this issue – I’m particularly interested in the pieces done by machines, partly because of the drawings they produce, but also because of the ingenious machines themselves.
