Publishing with purpose
We held our Independent Magazine Fair about a month ago now, on Saturday 14th May, and this week’s episode of the Stack podcast contains the audio from that day’s final panel discussion, on Publishing with Purpose. Our speakers were Evar Hussayni, senior editor of Azeema; Ellie Jackson, editor of The Movement Movement; and Nina Carter, co-creative director of It’s Freezing in LA!
They’re all trying to affect some kind of wider change in the world, and while the subjects they deal with are completely different to each other, I was struck by the fact that there’s a lot of consensus between them in the way they go about achieving their goals.
