Just a quick one to say thanks very much to everyone who turned out at The Deaf Institute on Thursday night for Printout!’s first foray into the north. And of course a particular thanks to the speakers who came to perch on the edge of the stage and share their thoughts on publishing in the north. Also to everyone from OWT Creative – I’ll be blogging some pictures and thoughts about their lovely zines as soon as I get chance.

Other than that, it was great to meet such an engaged and enthusiastic group of people, and to share the magazine love outside of London. A few people asked about taking Printout! to other cities in the future, and I’d love to make that happen. So if you think you’ve got a venue and / or a likely audience, drop me a line and Jeremy and I will see what we can do about getting over to you and organising some sort of interesting magazine thing.
