Just a quick one to say thanks very much to everyone who turned out at The Deaf Institute on Thursday night for Printout!’s first foray into the north. And of course a particular thanks to the speakers who came to perch on the edge of the stage and share their thoughts on publishing in the north. From left to right, James Griffin (Bonafide), Alasdair Hiscock (Article) and Bec Brown (Blanket). Also to everyone from OWT Creative – I’ll be blogging some pictures and thoughts about their lovely zines as soon as I get chance.

Other than that, it was great to meet such an engaged and enthusiastic group of people, and to share the magazine love outside of London. A few people asked about taking Printout! to other cities in the future, and I’d love to make that happen. So if you think you’ve got a venue and / or a likely audience, drop me a line and Jeremy and I will see what we can do about getting over to you and organising some sort of interesting magazine thing.
