Very Nearly Almost here
Some people call it art, others vandalism, but one thing’s for sure – graffiti makes for a lovely looking magazine. Very Nearly Almost (VNA) has been around for years, but it seems to have hit its stride in the last few issues, emerging as the main magazine to document street art in the UK and elsewhere.
It’s probably not a coincidence that this coming of age has happened around the same time that street art itself has won a bit of mainstream respect. Flick through the pages of VNA and as well as painted walls and stickered street signs there are branded shoes and t-shirts, and canvases destined for the white walls of the gallery. There’s a sense of street art reaching a crossroads and VNA is perfectly placed to record the route it takes.
And now that it’s become a Stack magazine we’ll be sending it out very soon. We’re always on the lookout for great new titles to add to the Stack lineup, so if you know of a magazine that deserves a wider audience, let us know at info@stackmagazines.com.
