Put A Egg On It joins Stack
Freed from the monotony of shimmering lobsters and airbrushed cupcakes, Put A Egg On It is a biannual zine for the unpretentious foodie. Dedicated to one of the few things we all have in common, the biannual art and literary zine celebrates the everyday joys of eating and sharing food.
Named after the trusty culinary trick of enlivening leftovers by adding an egg on top, the zine was started in 2008 by New York-based Ralph McGinnis and Sarah Keough. In our interview, editor Sarah says that they like “messiness and real life,” and the zine is packed with personal essays, photo series and art projects, as well as cooking tips and recipes.
We can’t wait to send Put A Egg On It out to our subscribers, so sign up to Stack today and receive a handpicked indie magazine straight to your door every month, starting from £5.50 per month.
