From 21st-century cuisine to traditional favourites like pulla (sweet buns) and possumunkki (‘pig doughnuts’), the new issue of Fare magazine shows the many different faces of Helsinki’s food culture. Last year’s launch issue focused on Istanbul and used food to explore the history, politics and life of the place, and this latest instalment follows the same recipe to deliver an assured and original overview.
