Stack at home – December 2015
Picking the final delivery of the year is always a challenge. With the holidays comes (perhaps) more time to be spent reading and we wanted to make sure we gave our subscribers a magazine featuring some high-quality long reads. And so naturally the slow journalism pioneer Delayed Gratification came to mind as the perfect fit.
As always, we’ve collected all the photos we could find on social media in a Pinterest board so check that out for some instant magazine gratification! Following are our five favourite photos:
5. Looking back
…as one often does at the end of each year. Here’s Andrew’s Stack year in review, finished off with Delayed Gratification. Lovely stack that is!

4. Cereal, not Cereal
What better way than Tasha’s to spend a Sunday morning? Stack was made for days like this.
Now this is proper Sunday reading @dg_quarterly from @stackmagazines accompanied by @earlybirduk peach tea & @dorsetcereals granola (found one with no honey! Ecstatic ) I’m a grown up I swear A photo posted by Tasha Minter (@freshminter) on
3. A happy surprise
We’re really happy we could cheer up our friend Matt with this month’s Stack delivery. (Nearly naked Santa card courtesy of Jean Jullien in collaboration with Mubi)
2. Welcome aboard
Finally the back cover of DG gets the attention it deserves! Lovely shot by new subscriber, Mika.

1. 100% koselig
The warm light from the candle casting rays upon Delayed Gratification gives Reema’s photo that perfectly subtle festive look we all associate with the holidays. As they say in Norway, it’s simply koselig. A Stack tee is on its way!
